Victorian IRB Championships

The Victorian IRB Championships were held on 25 & 26 of June 2022 at Lorne.
A cold weekend didn’t dampen the South Melbourne IRB Team, who had an outstanding weekend bring home 6 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals over the Open, Masters and Under 23 competitions.

One of the six gold was for the elusive Mixed Relay, which we managed to win three times over the season, however disqualified twice. This was one we really wanted and, we managed to achieve it, topping off our Victorian Titles. The teams elated smiles also a sign of relief there were no dq’s.
